As the City remodels and builds new municipal facilities, it is a wise use of tax payer dollars to maximize energy and water efficiency of these buildings and grounds. By spending a little more on insulation, heating and cooling systems, water and light fixtures, and other elements up front, the City realizes significant energy and water savings forever. At this point in time, the City has only one new building planned.
